My NEW New Morning Journal from Ubud
So… about my $3 Thailand elephant emblem journal I posted last week… I left it in Vietnam.
That’s okay. I can let those thoughts roam freely in Ho Chi Minh.
Found this cute handmade, eco-friendly journal on the streets of Ubud for $6.
(Yes, Ubud is a bit pricier than Chiang Mai).

BEETS THE MEAT!
Look at this Mexican raw vegan lasagna (below)! This dish consciously crafted by Seed’s of Life may be my favorite dish in Ubud, because of the beetroot pate “meat”.
Basically soaked beets mixed with either pineapple or mango salsa (depending on the season).
reunited and it feels so good! this may be my fave dish in all of Ubud. what is this masterpiece? @solbali’s Mexican raw vegan lasagna consciously created with beetroot pates, mango (and sometimes pineapple) salsa, cashew sour cream, slices of avocado and rawmesan cheese. seriously… I can’t wait for my meat-eating, lasagna loving brother to get here next month and try it! I’m telling you… it may convert some meat eaters. There’s NOTHING like it in the states. ▹‣▹‣▹‣▹‣▹‣▹‣▹‣▹‣▹‣▹‣
Ben, the creative owner of Seeds in Ubud, does not share his secret weapon of a recipe online.
Maybe you’ll get lucky if you’re a student in his Raw Vegan course, otherwise… just trial and error on your own.
Not knowing how things are made triggers my curios George side to search for another raw vegan beet meat recipe — to hopefully inspire more people to eat delicious meat-free recipes.
