Stuck

He asked: 

 “But I’ve been practicing and I’m still stuck”

She answered:

“Wonderful! Now…

How many times a day you deliberately choose to shift the negative energy into something that puts you in a better feeling state?

How many times a day do you reaffirm your negative beliefs?

How many times a day do you recognize that your mind has wandered into a negative space?

How many times a day do you nourish your old negative thoughts and feelings about yourself?

How many times a day do you allow yourself to cave into old unhealthy habits?

How many times a day do you judge yourself?

How many times a day do you judge someone else?

How many times a day do you compare yourself to someone else?

How many times a day do you laugh at your quirks? 

How many times a day do you laugh at your flaws?

How many times a day do you laugh at your idiosyncrasies?

How many times a day do you laugh… a true, unforced, sincere laugh?

How many times a day do you smile… a true, unforced, sincere smile?

How many times a day do you open your heart to the universe to let all that shit go?

Positive affirmations, mantras, prayers, scriptures, meditations, yoga, working up a good sweat, or whatever practice that makes you feel aligned are undoubtedly the best tools to get us out of any hole we dug ourselves into–

but, ugh…

the world is dirty and likes to pile on more dirt and cement negative energy into our thoughts and feelings.

So how many times are we going to apply these practices beyond our mat and into our everyday lives to clear a path of positive energy so we can finally “get unstuck?”
